Introducing New StreamScore™ and Customer Dashboard
In the increasingly complex world of high-volume email delivery, senders want more data with additional context and insight on what the data means and how it can be used to create a more successful email program.
SocketLabs is excited to introduce a completely new StreamScore Detail Report with four times the amount of data used in the previous report and even more insight on what that data means and how it can be used to create new email opportunities. The new StreamScore Report can be accessed through our completely remodeled customer dashboard.
So lets dive into some of these exciting new changes and see what they mean for our customers!
Unlocking New Email Opportunities with StreamScore
What is StreamScore
StreamScore is SocketLabs’ unique performance monitoring and reporting tool that analyzes users’ email across various unique data points to determine the overall strength and health of their email as it will be seen by recipient mailbox providers.
The report helps identify opportunities for improvement by providing actionable insight into four key areas of users email programs including audience, engagement, domain and IP reputation, and authentication and security.
More Robust Data
At SocketLabs, we are constantly working to evolve our technology, creating innovative new products the help simplify and improve the way our customers send email. The newest version of StreamScore does just that, utilizing four times the amount of unique data compared to the original, all packaged and delivered to the user with a completely new scoring formula that boils down to four new weighted components. These components are built into the scoring model to reduce complexity and give a more detailed and holistic view of the health of the sender’s email program.
Simplifying Email Analytics: 4 New StreamScore Components
Because StreamScore is now built on more data, we are able to provide a much more thorough view of how the sender’s email is performing without adding more complexity. Aside from metrics we collect through our MTA, StreamScore also utilizes valuable data from tools like Google Postmaster and Microsoft SNDS to get a more information on important areas like reputation, spam rates, errors, and more.
To incorporate more data in StreamScore without adding complexity for our senders, the report boils down to four primary component scores, designed to not only help identify where a problem may exist but how to make needed changes.
Audience Quality Score – The Audience Score analyzes the quality of recipient email addresses used. This score is a result of the practices used to collect recipient email addresses and the level of maintenance performed on existing recipient lists/addresses.
Engagement Score – The Engagement Score analyzes how recipients are interacting with delivered email. It mirrors the engagement-based decisions used in anti-spam filtering technology to identify potential impacts to inbox placement.
Reputation Score - The Reputation Score analyzes feedback received directly from major mailbox providers about how they are judging email from the sender. This scoring component allows us to gauge the sender’s ability to successfully reach the inbox.
Security Check – The Infrastructure and Security Check analyzes the senders account configuration and the use of proper authentication for messages.
Domain-Level StreamScore Reporting
In addition to the new scoring formula, StreamScore also now provides the ability to get reporting on the domain level, allowing for each domain a sender uses to have its own, manageable StreamScore Detail Report (available for Professional and higher accounts). This search function is great for senders who are managing larger email programs with multiple domains, looking to pinpoint exactly how each mail stream is performing and where issues may be coming from.
StreamScoreLite Vs. StreamScorePro
StreamScoreLite is provided to Free and Basic plans. It includes a single comprehensive score and a non-interactive graphic visual of the sender’s StreamScore history.
StreamScorePro, available at Professional and higher plan levels, offers a comprehensive StreamScore, a fully interactive graph of the sender’s historical data, four StreamScore component scores (discussed above), and the ability to get a unique StreamScore for each domain the sender uses.
Getting Essential Email Data, Faster: New Customer Dashboard
In addition to the all-new StreamScore Report, the new SocketLabs Customer Dashboard is now more intuitive, intelligent, and overall, more effective at helping customers get a deeper look into their email delivery, with less searching, and wondering about what they’re looking at or trying to find. The dashboard is designed to provide customers with their most essential analytics and data-trends quickly, while still allowing for deeper drilldowns across their email program where necessary.
Overall the new dashboard is set up to help foster efficiency and effectiveness. In this new environment, users will find it easier to manage their programs, find what they are looking for, and make changes to specific problem areas. Some things to expect in the new dashboard are:
- New data filters allow senders to organize their email activity by mailing id, from domain, and mailbox provider to see a more accurate and holistic representation of their email performance, according to their specific needs.
- Users now have quick access to the recipient search function where they can search all events related to a specific address they are sending to.
- The new side-navigation is easier to use than before with the most important functions closer to the top and with additional functions like server selection and a recipient search dashboard.
Making Email Efficiency a Priority
The most important function that SocketLabs has as an email service provider is to create a simple yet effective environment for senders of all shapes and sizes to get their important email to the inbox. Our updates in the new StreamScore Report and the new Dashboard help customers understand and act on their email delivery with more data and insight than ever before without adding more complexity.
