Director of Strategic Alliances

SocketLabs seeks a full-time Director of Strategic Alliances to join our Sales team. The ideal candidate is intelligent, passionate about technology, and loves to gain new skills. We are seeking a responsible self-starter who can work independently and who is interested in long-term employment with a solid, growing company. The candidate will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with top SocketLabs partner organizations. Some of the primary duties include: identifying new partnership opportunities, driving growth within existing relationships, establishing formal partnership agreements, driving awareness of SocketLabs’ products, services and partnership offerings within our partner network.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, negotiate, finalize, and expand SocketLabs partnership opportunities
  • Create opportunities to expand revenue within existing partnerships
  • Establish mutually beneficial offers with partners, including co-marketing campaigns
  • Drive referral business into SocketLabs through partners
  • Work with the SDR team to develop and launch targeted acquisition campaigns
  • Research target partnership opportunities and manage the entire lifecycle from identification to establishing an agreement and closing the deal
  • Grow relationships with existing partner accounts including primary stakeholders, influencers and decision makers
  • Coordinate with Leadership Team and cross-functional team members to define and deliver long-term partner objectives
  • Lead partner contract renewal while identifying opportunities for account expansion
  • Manage monthly and annual partnership program budget planning and reporting, with rewards based on performance
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to facilitate Partnership enablement programs and necessary training and content
  • Work closely with Customer Success and Services teams to ensure effective partner management
  • Desired Experience

  • We are looking for an experienced leader with 3-5 years of client and partner management, including exceeding quota targets and/or customer expansion and retention goals
  • Established existing relationships with decision maker contacts, contacts in IT Infrastructure, or those in other complementary industry roles
  • Experience with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications, in particular for IT Infrastructure, Email/SMS, and/or other digital communications
  • Consistently meets and exceeds quotas and other metric-based account targets
  • Experience selling technology infrastructure with direct contact to all levels in the organization, including final decision maker
  • Highly collaborative, team-focused mindset a priority
